1st single - "Hold It Against Me"

As Luke confirmed on Twitter, it's not called 'Don't Hold It Against Me' because that means something very different and as a song title is only about 12% as amazing as 'Hold It Against Me'.

Big Britney day

Today has been quite exciting for Britney fans. To start, Brian Friedman, the choreographer behind "Me Against the Music", is working with Britney again. He confirmed the news via his facebook page (Source).

Second, Dr. Luke tweeted about a rumored song & some lyrics. While the lyrics were false, the song title was pretty much true. "We did write "hold it against me" but those lyrics are NOT the lyrics...." he tweeted (Source).

Finally, a new picture of Britney and Jason on their Mexican vakay has been released. According to US Weekly, Britney told them "My birthday weekend away with Jason was amazing. Best birthday of my life!" So should we be expecting a full-on interview of some sort with the mag? We'll see! (Source)

December 7 - Britney goes to Walmart

What a busy day for BritBrit. First, she's spotted at the recording studio and now she's spotted shopping. Ms. Britney and Edan were spotted at the superstore today doing some retail therapy.

Britney Loses Legal Ruling In Bodyguard Lawsuit

Britney Spears lost a legal ruling in the lawsuit filed against her by a former bodyguard, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. A judge ruled against Team Spears’ attempt to have that lawsuit consolidated under the conservatorship that still governs Britney.

Instead, the case, brought by Fernando Flores, will be fought in Los Angeles Superior Court. The judge handling Britney’s conservatorship will not hear the case. Spears motion to consolidate the lawsuit under the conservatorship was denied in a brief ruling issued Tuesday. "The Court finds that the cases....are not related and the Motion to Transfer this action to the Probate Department of the Central District is denied. Each case is to remain in the departments in the respective districts where they are currently assigned. Per request and agreement of counsel, the court allows 20 days to respond to the complaint,” the judge wrote.

Flores made shocking allegations against the pop star, including that he saw Britney physically strike her two children, and that she paraded around naked in front of him. Lawyers for the conservatorship contend that Flores’ claims are baseless and without merit.

JUMBO BRITNEY POST!!!

- Britney was spotted out doing some shopping yesterday after her photoshoot.

- Choreographer Brian Friedman who choreographed "Me Against the Music" and "Toxic" tweeted Britney yesterday saying they should work together again, leading to rumors of them already working together.

- Songwriter Bonnie Mckee is currently in Sweden with Dr. Luke and Max Martin. Oh, and she's also with BLOODSHY AND AVANT, THE DUO THAT BROUGHT US THE EPICNESS THAT WAS "Toxic"!!!!!!!! (Source).

People Magazine talk Britwick getaway

Britney Spears celebrated a very happy long birthday weekend with boyfriend Jason Trawick during a romantic trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

"When they landed, she got to the [private] villa and was blown away," a source tells PEOPLE of the couple, who arrived on Dec. 2, Spears's 29th birthday. "Jason had arranged a red velvet cake for her birthday."

Last week, Spears's camp denied a tabloid report that Trawick "beat on" the pop star. And their intimate getaway, which included a private chef and a fridge stocked with fresh fruit, seemed to prove their point.

"They suntanned and did a lot of relaxing and decompressing," says the source. "They seemed very much in love. "

Indeed, a source close to Spears told PEOPLE last week that "the couple's relationship is better [than ever]. Britney and Jason lately have been very happy together."

Glad things are going great for them!

Groundrush Media to create new Britney site?

According to a member at the Britney forum "Exhale", a company by the name of "Groundrush Media Inc." is set to redesign Britney's web site in accordance with her new album. The company has provided different forms of media for artists Madonna and P!nk.

"My uncle works for Groundrush Media Inc. and he just told me that his company is creating a new website for Ms. Britney Spears. <3" says the user, who then goes on to say "his status - We locked down a MAJOR project yesterday! We're locked in to do the new Britney Spears website! 2011 is gonna be Craaaazy!"

Adam Leber sent out a buttload of tweets today. He called Britney telling her on our behalf "happy birthday". She was said to be very thankful. However, in the most exciting news of the day, he tweeted "The announcement you've all been waiting for is coming today. Tell a friend...". The announcement is expected to be about music but after all that's gone down within the past year, lord knows what'll happen.

Britney visits Jason in wake of abuse claims.

Britney Spears went to the William Morris Endeavor Entertainment agency in Bev Hills this afternoon ... to visit boyfriend Jason Trawick in a show of solidarity.



Britney spent time with Jason inside the building, left by car and then returned.  The pic of Brit (above) is her coming back to see her BF.

We also got this pic of Jason outside William Morris, where he works as an agent. It's interesting, because Jason's not running for cover. 


Our sources say Trawick has been adamant today ... the voice on the recording is not his girlfriend's.  Jason joins Britney's camp in slamming the publication of Jason Alexander's audio tapes, in which he claims Britney told him Trawick beat her.

Jessie J continues Britney talk, says "people could be surprised"

Yesterday we told you about Jessie J, the co-writer on Miley Cyrus's "Party in the USA", who was working on a Britney song. Today, we got some new info.

In an interview with the UK's "Sun" she explains:

"I received the beat to work with and it's amazing. It's pretty cool. I don't think it will be what people expect.

"It's more British than you would expect but with the Britney swag. People will be surprised. It could be the most amazing thing I've done."

Today, she tweeted, hoping to clear up any confusion saying:

Can I just say I NEVER said I wrote Britneys next single. I SAID I have been sent a BEAT to write a top line on. That DOES NOT mean it will be used nor does it mean it will be the single. #cool?

"Stronger" to be X-Factor single?

A veeeeery strong rumor going around right now is stating the winner of the UK-based show "The X-Factor" will have a cover of B's "Stronger as their lead single.

Britney to remain under conservatorship

 Britney Spears will ring in the new year under her long-standing conservatorship .... sources tell TMZ.

We're told there are no plans to end the conservatorship, which was created in February 2008.

And, it's not bad news for Britney.  We're told she's "content" with the current arrangement and is no longer antsy to end it.

Britney is actually under two conservatorships -- one to care for her, and another to take care of her business affairs.  As for the latter, it will probably remain in place for a long time, because Britney Spears, Inc. has never run more smoothly.

As for the personal conservatorship ... we're told no one involved -- Britney included -- wants to end it.

Wynter Gordon and Bonnie McKee talk about album #7

We'll start with Bonnie, the female behind two of the year's biggest singles - "California Gurls" and "Teenage Dream", both sung by Katy Perry. In an interview-esque stream she did today, she revealed she wrote 30 songs for Britney with one of them recorded. She went into further detail saying the song was inspired by a pick-up line she received at a bar when she was with Katy Perry.

The other news involved Wynter Gordon, an up-and-coming singer whose debut single "Dirty Talk" hit #1 on the Billboard Dance Club charts this year. She revealed she wrote a song with Warren "Oak" Felder recently which she hopes will end up making Britney's album.

Both ladies are very talented, I'm interested to hear what they bring to the table.

November 23 - Britney and Jason leave LA.

The twosome were spotted arriving at LAX Airport today. No word on where the two were headed.

Lynne Spears loses Case Appeal

A state appellate court panel today rejected an effort by Britney Spears' mom to have defamation claims filed against her by her daughter's former manager thrown out.

The 17-page opinion was not immediately available, but an e-mail notice from the 2nd District Court of Appeal stated that Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Zaven V. Sinanian's ruling that Osama "Sam' Lutfi could move forward with his claims against Lynne Spears was affirmed.

Her lawyer, Michael Adler, urged the three-justice appellate panel to apply the "libel-proof' doctrine for the first time in California and find that Lutfi's reputation was already so bad before Spears included passages about him in her book that his reputation could not be further besmirched.

Arguing before the panel five days ago, he said anyone in the "Britney-centric world' was already familiar with negative comments about her former manager before he claimed his reputation was maligned by the singer's mother.

But Lutfi's lawyer, Joseph D. Schleimer, holding a copy of "Through the Storm, A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World,' told the justices that the allegedly defamatory statements could create problems for his client for a long time to come.

Britney Spears has spurred many books, and others could borrow from this one and republish the statements if my client is not allowed to vindicate himself,' Schleimer said.

Lutfi's suit, filed in February 2008, maintains that the book contains false information, including that Lutfi admitted throwing away Britney's phone chargers and disabling her house phones in an attempt to isolate her from her family.

In August 2009, Sinanian rejected Lynne Spears' argument that her statements about Lutfi in her book and in a declaration in support of a temporary restraining order against him on behalf of her daughter were protected free speech.

Sinanian found Lutfi had established a "prima facie claim for defamation, assuming the statements were made falsely.'

Lutfi's lawsuit also alleged that the singer's father, Jamie Spears, punched him in the chest at her home in January 2008, and that the singer owes him money for management fees. Sinanian delayed that part of the case pending the outcome of the appeal.

Celebrity Name Drop (Bette Midler edition)

In a new interview with Sky News, legendary icon Bette Midler briefly mentioned our girl Britney. She began her statement talking about ancient Rome and modern-day Hollywood, saying

"it's like an expanded version of what the hookers in Rome went through - there'd be one who was celebrated, passed around and then the critics would write lots of horrible things about her."

She said she regretted the way Britney's career turned out, commenting

"she had a great shot but couldn't seem to control it."

New gossip y'all!

On a music forum I browse daily, a reliable member who has had scoop on stuff in the past posted about Britney's album. Apparently, she's done a fair amount of tracks with Darkchild recently. One of them is bound to be an "absolute smash" because of those involved with the writing of the track. It's also rumored the album photoshoot is set to happen some time soon though this source is less reliable than the first.

In other news, it's being rumored Britney will attend the AMA's tonight to receive an award. This started on a French discussion forum where the original poster had no source. Take this with a lot of salt since she's rumored to attend almost every award show every year.

You might recall we posted the other day about BritneysBabies, a user at the B forum "Exhale" confirming before pictures were released that Britney was at BCBG Max Azria Group in downtown LA. Today, they've announced a similar story. Britney and her boyfriend Jason Trawick were spotted at Sony Music in LA. BritneysBabies said Jason was spotted leaving in her G-Wagon while Britney hid in the back seat.

Britney to endorse BCBG?

So the web master of Britney's Babies posted a thread on the Britney board "Exhale" stating Britney shot a music video today at BCBG in downtown Los Angeles. This was presumed to be BS (no pun intended). Minutes ago, the web master of "Exhale" Jordan Miller posted the following:

Just a rumor.

I received a facebook message from a user today saying the following:

hey bud. my friend works for BCBG headquarters in downtown LA. she told me britney is over there today because she may be their new spokesperson!!!!!!

Lynne Spears appeals defmation ruiling

The drama that surrounds Douchelord Sam Lutfi continued today as Lynne Spears appealed a defamation ruiling against her.

In August 2009, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Zaven V. Sinanian rejected Lynne's argument that her statements about Sam in her book "Through The Storm" and in a declaration in support of a temporary restraining order against him on behalf of her daughter were protected free speech. Lynne's attorneys want the justices to reverse Judge Sinanian's order and direct him to dismiss the defamation claim against her.

There's no word yet on when a decision will be made about the appeal.

Jamie and Lynne back together

What good news! According to new reports, Britney's parents have reunited. They divorced in 2002 but with Britney's personal troubles and Jamie Lynne's pregnancy in 2008, they put aside their issues to help their children. Since then, it's appeared the relationship has mended.

Congrats to the two of them!

UPDATE - People Magazine has confirmed the romance.

"They are back together and are doing well and happy," a source tells PEOPLE. "[They're] not remarried but back together."

New Britney book to be released

So while sitting around on Twitter, I came across a book that is set to be released titled "The Exile of Britney Spears: A Tale of 21st Century Consumption". According to Amazon, here is a description of the book:

November 13 - Britney & Sean Preston get some froyo

Following her big day at studio, Miss Britney and her eldest Sean went and got some frozen yogurt at Menchie's in L.A. She left the store lookin' kinda blah and went into her home away from home (Starbucks) and when she emerged she looked ten times better! Talk about looking dumpy one minutes and sexy the next.

Britney says dancing and her children keep her in shape.

In an alleged new interview, Britney cites her children and her love of dance as what keeps her thin.

“How do I keep slim? Having two boys definitely helps, and I love to dance,” she said. “It’s the best way to stay in shape.”

Britney also discussed a few other wide range of topics.

On massages - "I love treating myself to a spa day. Massages are my favorite."

On make-up - "Sometimes I keep it simple and don’t wear much make-up – just a little mascara and lip gloss. Other times, I’ll play around and do heavier make-up or some fun lipstick.”

On Madonna - "I love, love, love Madonna! She’s one of my inspirations."
